The ENLIGHTENme Platform

ENLIGHTENme draws from a diverse range of expertise to study how indoor and outdoor lighting impacts human health and wellbeing, especially for people over 65 years of age and vulnerable groups. This platform was created to organise lighting-related knowledge into three levels:

  • An Atlas of best practices
  • City-level ligting and health maps
  • District-level 3D models

The Platform also includes a Decision Support System that allows users to tailor the results of the ENLIGHTENme project to fit their profile, interests and location, supporting in making informed decisions for healthier, age-friendly cities.
